Oil & Gas Pipelines in the Middle East Conference 2008

Story Content:

May 23, 2008

On May 12-14, 2008, the Zerust Oil & Gas team, including Prof. Lyublinski (NTIC), Gautam Ramdas (NTIC), Indrajit Anne (NTI-Dilmun), and Bob Walker (Specialty-NTIA) exhibited at the Oil & Gas Pipelines in the Middle East Conference in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This Conference focused on latest pipeline solution developments and projects that are under way in the Middle East Region.

The final day of the Conference was dedicated to a Corrosion Workshop, which was attended by chief corrosion engineers representing the majority of Middle East’s oil companies. The focus of the session was on present pipeline corrosion control methods, as well as novel technologies of the future. Professor Lyublinski delivered a presentation on Zerust® Flange Savers™, bringing to the forefront of the discussion the persistent industry problem and introducing a simple, cost-saving solution. The newly proposed solution was well received, and some of the delegates could see application conditions where the Flange Savers® would make an immediate positive impact.
